TEACHERS' TRAINING IN DUBLIN ON PARTICIPATORY MAPPING
At this event, 14 teachers from five different countries met in Dublin, along with partners from the Global Action Plan International network in Ireland, Italy, Spain, Poland, and Kenya, to learn more about Just Maps and its objectives and to become project facilitators capable of supporting their students in becoming active global citizens. On this occasion, the entire team had the opportunity—thanks in part to international expert Dr. Joe Usher of University College Dublin —to learn more about participatory mapping. Through this transnational training, the project team was also able to lay the groundwork for the development of the Just Maps methodology.
Below are some reflections from Dr. Joe Usher and the teachers who participated in the event in Dublin
