From April 2026, Mappers began meeting with local political representatives to present the project and interview them about the neighbourhood. The students will use the responses they receive and their conversations with local councillors to develop new ideas and solutions to incorporate into the maps they will create. Through this activity, the students will boost their self-esteem and self-efficacy, whilst their creativity and digital skills will improve as they produce a final video documenting their experience.
