At this event, 14 teachers from five different countries met in Dublin, along with partners from the Global Action Plan International network in Ireland, Italy, Spain, Poland, and Kenya, to learn more about Just Maps and its objectives and to become project facilitators capable of supporting their students in becoming active global citizens. 

On this occasion, the team had the chance to get to know one another and gain a better understanding of the project, defining its expectations and prospects through the activities organised by InEuropa using Lego® bricks. Participants built models with the bricks to represent what the project means to them and why Just Maps is important for their schools. 

Furthermore, thanks to the expert Dr. Joe Usher of University College Dublin —the team deepened their knowledge of participatory mapping and tested some mapping activities to be carried out with the students themselves. The team also had the opportunity to create a project timeline focusing on student engagement and learning. Through this transnational training, the project team was also able to lay the groundwork for the development of the Just Maps methodology.
