Since September 2025, the teachers involved in Just Maps have been taking part in a series of cascade training sessions to raise awareness of Just Maps and the methodology developed by the project team following the transnational meeting held in Dublin, as summarised in the first edition of the Just Maps HANDBOOK.

The aim was to involve other teachers in the project activities and to test the methodology on a large scale so that it could be adapted and finalised at the end of the project. To achieve this, teachers in Italy, Poland, Spain and Kenya organised training sessions in their own schools, reaching more than 225 teachers.

In September 2026, Irish schools will also join in the effort to involve new teachers by organising their own cascade training sessions.
