APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY OF JUST MAPS: THE FIRST DRAFT OF THE PROJECT PROGRAMME (HANDBOOK)

The project team worked to put together an initial draft of the Just Maps programme, setting out the various steps to be taken, the approach and the methodology to be used. Following the first few months of work and the transnational meeting in Dublin, the teachers and GAP I members of Just Maps produced an initial document that incorporated numerous activities trialed in Dublin and brought together concepts that the project members considered essential for understanding the objectives of Just Maps and for launching the project activities.

This document – the HANDBOOK – serves as a starting point for teachers and anyone wishing to apply the Just Maps methodology in their own learning environments. Furthermore, the Handbook will be updated as the project progresses to adapt all concepts and activities to the needs and requirements identified by teachers and pupils.

The final version of the Handbook will be finalised in November 2027. You can download the draft version here.

The Handbook has been used to engage other teachers in the Just Maps Journey during the Cascade Trainings. To discover more about the Cascade Trainings held by teachers in their country, go to the next step!
