RESEARCH AND OBSERVATION: Students become mappers

In October 2025, students began their Just Maps journey! Supported by their class teachers, they began to explore and research their local areas.

During this period, teachers and students – the Just Mappers – found the area they want to research, and then analysed and observed it to collect details and create maps. They asked critical questions about the space perspective, considering ownership and access to community spaces, roads, parks, rivers, buildings, as well as exploring environmental and social issues.

They also organised interviews and observation visits, engaging the local community
